The Dawson Academy

Doctors Glenn DuPont and DeWitt Wilkerson are passionate about dentistry and strive to stay on the cutting edge. Both dentists are leaders in the dental community, held in high esteem by both their patients and peers. To stay on the forefront of modern dentistry, Drs DuPont and Wilkerson not only take advanced continuing education courses, but teach post-graduate courses to dental professionals from around the world at the prestigious Dawson Academy.

In addition to teaching at the Dawson Academy, Drs. DuPont and Wilkerson both maintain their own full time dental practices.

Drs. DuPont and Wilkerson apply the concepts of Complete Dentistry on every patient. The concept of Complete Dentistry, as developed by Dr. Peter E. Dawson, requires ample time between the dentist and patient to perform a full maxillofacial/dental examination and diagnostic testing, as well as a one-on-one conversation about medical history, cosmetic concerns, and any other issues. All of the information is compiled and analyzed to arrive at a precise diagnosis and conservative treatment plan.

Dr. Wilkerson is not only and educator at the Dawson Academy, but he is the chairman of the Dawson Foundation, a group dedicated to promoting public, charitable and educational purposes in the field of dentistry.
